Silence > Social Media

It’s quiet in my head this morning. In fact, it’s nearly silent. Sometimes it is difficult to find the hushed moments between the liking, the sharing, and the commenting, the driving, the cooking, and the deadlines. We are rarely still and almost never speechless. Imagine how much we could learn and create if we could find more of the tranquil moments in which we could meditate, study, and focus. Think how much we could hear if we were listening-if we sat down in front of the tv in the morning and didn’t turn it on-if we sat there and listened to the world waking up around us. Find some place calm and stay there awhile. Silence>socialmedia
